Appointment Of Advisor; Sander Swinkels

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sander Swinkels as an Advisor to The Singapore FinTech Consortium.

Sander is an expert on National Security, Defense and Policing. He also has gained over 20 years of general management experience, driving major business transformations as well as building businesses, teams and organisations from scratch in Netherlands, Singapore and London.

Sander was the General Manager of the SEA region for Palantir Technologies, Inc. which is a private American software and services company, specializing in data analysis. Founded in 2004, Palantir’s original clients were federal agencies of the United States Intelligence Community. It has since expanded its customer base to serve state and local governments, as well as private companies in the financial and healthcare industries. While working for Palantir, Sander was heavily involved in establishing and growing the SEA division across the entire spectrum of business from scratch. Prior to that, Sander worked for Capgemini as Principal Public security for the Global Public sector. During then, he was the principal consultant and led many successful sales efforts in both Europe and in South East Asia.

Sander also was the Chief Intelligence Officer on a National level in the Dutch National Police (Royal Marechaussee). During his tenure as the Chief Intelligence Officer, he led the transition to Intelligence Led Policing on a National level, improving multi agency collaboration and led many projects and investigations within the Counter Terrorism, Serious Organized Crime and Border Management domains.

Sander received a Masters degree in Science (Economics & Information Management) from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and is a Dutch Royal Military Academy graduate.
